Too simple I never thought it would work! Brilliant big ups to the writers.

Running multiboot 3 OSs, once in a while get fed up with windoz and try installing another Linux distro which fails. This I've done at least 3 times on my main computer. When trying to bootup, no OS to boot to. Insert supergrub cd and play with boot Linux, boot windoz, until correct choices are figured out to boot each OS. Sure beats not having any usuable OS. This last time Fedora supposedly installed and didn't. supergrub gives me access to win7 [yulk], wins xp, and Fedora which wiped out my grub loader and didn't install. Have to try a reinstall. Came to this site to find an updated supergrub.

I just download grub_disk 0.97-59. I would like to rescure the files and photos in the disk.
Can you tell me what to do and how to do? so I can save files and photos from the damage disk to good disk.

This solved my problem quite neatly. I had a dual booting laptop windows/ubuntu that the harddrive died on, but i really needed my windows partition back into working order. Luckly, I had a clonzilla image of the windows partition, bad news I had taken it after I had installed Ubuntu/grub. I could only install the one partition, because the only hard drive i had was half the size of the old one. Windows wouldn't boot because the linux/grub partition was gone. This CD booted right into windows without any problems, first try. Thank you so much for this. I can forsee many, many other repair situations where this could find a use. This CD will most definatly be added to my box of tools. Note to others- the use of this will require some previous computer know how, or a guideof some sort. But it is worth it because it really does work.

Hello, you need to burn (write) the ISO image on a blank or CD-RW disc. Use Nero or Roxio or Brasero.

Hi I just downloaded Super Grub Disk 0.9785 to boot my old SCO OperServer 5. The downloaded fileis: super_grub_disk_0.9795.iso

Can you please tell me what to do next? I want to create a boot floppy disk for my old SCO Openserver 5.

This program saved my computer and my Master Boot Record. I had installed PCLinuxOS, but decided not to keep it so I deleted the partition from windows. Because of this, I was not able to boot windows since Grub bootloader was still "installed." The only thing I had was the LiveCD for PCLinuxOS, so I could not burn this with an iso - I was already using my only dvd drive.

LUCKILY, you go to Super Grub Disk's website and they give you very detailed instructions on how to create a bootable Super Grub Disk usb drive!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! I absolutely love it.

The way I solved my problem was going into Super Grub Disk, selecting Advanced>Grub>Uninstall Grub>Select Partition (Windows)>Syslinux as the bootloader.

After this, I used EasyBCD to recreate the Vista MBR just to make sure everything was back to normal.
