The biggest problem with linux distros is they fight among themselves to get top rating but they fail to come together &serve best to open source.Ubuntu recently relased 12.04 it is worst on performance....they evesdrop on your activity in net(be care!!!).They shunted gnome desktop for their own commercial reason. The diastros who does not follow opensource ethics will disappear soon!.see the rating in distro watch!.
But solusOS is secure &sincere in their release adopting stable debian,gnome,etc.I congradulate the team for their effort as well as users of solusos.Dont follow any linux distro which does not have debian root directly.
If all linux distros come together &work unitedly, the proprietory softwares will disappear in thin air.we users shall support only distros who follow open source ethics sincerely. I hope ubuntu team will soon learn a lesson.

for servers my best chioce is freebsd or debian
for desk top my best choice is solusos!!!!!(as on date)

I have been a user of Debian for some years now and SolusOS is the best Debian (or Ubuntu) based distro that I have tried.
I heard about it in an interview with the developer on the Mintcast podcast and the reviewers had a high regard for it so I decided to give it a try.
It installed perfectly and has been stable ever since.
Copied my backed up home directory to the new installation and intend to stay with this distro.

I love debian testing but this is the best of both worlds. Safety of 'stable' with new apps included. Now on RC2 and I can't wait for RC3 and the final release. Plus 64bit out soon too. Excellent. Love it

Like many new releases it has a few rough edges (very few) but overall it is one of the better new releases I have come across.

Great new distro imo! Still has alot of new features and goodies waiting to be implemented, cant wait! :)

A superb newcomer with Debian Stable at it's base, own build kernel and other great stuff onboard. Love it to bits!
