ROSA Desktop 2012 user reviews

This is still in pre-release stage, so naturally there are a few glitches. Itallation was fairly easy, but it takes a unusually long to install everyhting! Once installed, it boots quicly, and has a look of Windows 7 at the log-on page. It is jammed packed with the latest software! Really no need to update much from online. It does has a prob connecting to a network at times, and the graphic heavy desktop makes it very hard to navigate quickly. But, it look great.

ROSA developers has done an amazing job with this distro! And, judging from what is being offered in the package, it's a stark contrast to what most other distros are currently doing, which seem to be following each other. RROSA has clearly decided they dont want to be like anything seen in the Linux community, and it is definitely shown in the project.

I dont recommend it for everday use at this stage, but good for testing. Once the bugs are worked out in the final release, then ROSA will be awesome!
