    I am a total Linux newbie. In fact i am not too good in windows too. Based on a small article in a pc magazine in the local library i gave Wary Linux (and puppy linux) a try.
    I haven on old Toshiba Laptop, 128 mb.

    Much to my suprise I took me little time to get the thing working: both video and connection to the internet, it all went smooth.

    PS: The characgters (fonts) appear a bit fuzzy on the screen, but this should be a well known linux problem?

    I love Puppy! It's not my desktop, but, I use it at nearly every clients on a USB stick. Too many versions of linux are trying to make live disks safe by protecting me from myself. Puppy does not do that. It boots to root and do what I need to do. It is fast
