I burnt the ditro onto a disk and loaded it into memory, from which I am writing these lines.
Overall I find the distro very good.
During memoryloading I recorded the folowing failures:
Failed to : listen to CUPS printer service
start log-in service
start network manager
dependancy failed for plugged in printer
To change the keyboard I looked into "system settings", system tools, administration - to no avail. I finally found the keyboard settings under Manjaro settings manager using the (thank goodness) supplied password "manjaro".
As far as everything else is concerned, everything seems to work. I am writing these lines using firefox. Libre Office is there, Brasero, Cheese, HP Device Manager, Simple Scan and VLC Media Player. Quite a few games are waiting to be played as well. Even a "Install Button" is present. While in memory I tried to access the pacmanager, which only gave me updates to existing programs. I didn't see any "new" programs such as "gnome commander" or "korganizer".
The distro looks good and is certainly well worth a try.
