    It's five for GUI because of its simplicity and snappiness. Five for for features because even though it comes preloaded with only the most basic utilities, it can be customized to have some powerful software. Four for ease of use since the only way to speed things up while using it is to add/activate more keyboard shortcuts. Five for value because it's free yet it far excels Windows XP for functionality and Windows 8 for simplicity.

    Sans document incompatibility due to the quirks of Microsoft Office files and just a simply different approach in office suite development from The Document Foundation, Lubuntu is very smart without being intrusive. More than good enough to get the important jobs done.
