    Instead of a 94MB source tarball, I got a 94K patch file that I can apply to nothing.

    Um... thus my ratings: that this is not very useful. If the actual 94MB source is provided then these ratings may not apply.

    how do i install this kernel?

    This kernel solved the issues I was having with visual effects on Ubuntu 10.10! I was booting in failsafe graphics mode all the time, because when I changed a wallpaper the screen would turn to colored lines, a black screen, or some other weird development. I would also lose windows borders etc. etc....I thought it was an outdated graphics card, but much to my delight, I am now loving wobbly windows and all the other cool visual effects one can only enjoy apart from Windows.
