    I have long been looking for a good video editor on GNU/Linux, it was like the last missing piece of software that was still bothering me. And I can say that the last missing piece has finaly been found. Kdenlive is a truly excellent video editor. Has all the features I need, and some more. And it also has a very nice and easy to use interface. I love it.

    Overall, this is an excellent application in every way.

    I am using it for some hobbyist film making, and am finding it the perfect program to use - it is easy and quick, and has all the needed features for a Linux Windows Movie Maker, which I must admit I was looking for.

    It allows you to use various types of media and import them easily, it is quick and easy and before I started, I had not read the manual and was instantly using it without any help.
