Using Brasero I burnt the distro onto a disk and loaded it into memory from which I am writing these lines.

The distro loaded without a hitch and in the end displayed a nice blue desktop.
All or mostly the important programs are there:

Document Viewer
K3b disk burner
Dragon Player
Korganizer
Calligra Office
Fedora Live USB Creator
Dolphin
and - hold your breath - even Krusader !!

Software Management is provided with APPER.

I was asked for a password upon accessing APPER and / or Print Manager. Although it recognized the Printer correctly it said: "failed to search for a recommended printer" and I was not able to print a test-page. My guess is, that this could be somehow worked out. I was able to change the keyboard layout without any problems.

Overall I found the distro very good to excellent, if a little slow on my laptop. Overall: very much recommended :))

Laughlin was great, but I have skipped Lovelock because of too many bugs. Verne has solved these issues, and has worked well out of box. For the first time in 3 releases, the nouveau drivers have worked well, adding to overall system stability. For those of you who like the power of OpenGL 3 D Graphics, you may have to wait for Fusion to update the repo for Nvidia cards, but this should come with the Beta release.

I have had issues with drivers for the Nvidia GT330M card in my laptop for over a year, I had blamed intermittent instability on a known bug - the screen froze intermittently with the f14 x86_64 kernel,so I have lived with the issue and since the f15 Nvidia drivers didn\'t work for me in f16, I have been using the default nouveau drivers. but I choose fedora for stability and security. The updated 3.1 kernel has been stable so far, and security was very easy to configure.

The improved KDE 4.7 interface with LibreOffice 3.4.3 has further improved stability that will be welcomed by many users. The repos have been a good selection of applications, and will only increase as the official release date approaches.

Not work on my computer! Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 and 11.04 is fine works! I tried sloww boot and flash play is slow! My computer HP is new I was buy 1 week ago. Fedora is pooooor! Ubuntu is better! ubuntu is faster!
