For an entire day I was looking for something with which you can boot into your computer and rescue data, should the system be corrupted, for whatever reason. Most, if not all socalled "Rescue" disks I found useless. Either they worked just on Windows, but not on Linux -or- they didn't have a filemanger, or they couldn't do it because you were not able to assume "roots" rights. EMMABUNTUES is the answer to all these problems. It does exactly what you want - and more :)) After rescue of the data, it can be installed and used as a superb Operating system that does all what a little LINUX heart like mine desires - and more :)) Thank you to the developers and please keep it up. An added bonus : You can learn French in the process, should you desire to do so :))

I installed this distro on a Lenovo S10-3 and never look back. At first, things were in French but already at the beginning of the installation you had the option to switch to English. This distro got so many things in it. Particularly for kids it is ideal with many drawing programs and school subjects. Additional programs are so easy to install, such as the commander style file managers, Softmaker-Office (prop.software) and even some of my Windows programs such as Terminplaner and Orga-Nicer (prop.software) ran flawlessly under WINE. I think, this has to be favourite distro now. Many thanks to the developers and top marks!!
