The porting looks fine. It uses ImageMagick if found, and requires cmake, as is apparent from the readme file. On debian boxes (lenny) it is safe to change the cmake requirement from 2.6.2 to 2.6.0: then it builds and installs all right following the instructions given. On a 64bit box, it creates a /usr/local/lib64 directory, so it is necessary to add it to the search path after install, e.g.
echo '/usr/local/lib64' >> /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local.conf
ldconfig
After that, it works as advertised. It is sensible to font changes, and won't recognize strings in a table. No dictionary is included, so, recognition is rather poor, e.g. пОДТВЕРЖДЕНИЕ was read as ЛОЯТВЕРЖДЕНИЕ. |
