The GUI would be pretty good, if the program actually worked. This program is good for two things:

1. wasting hard drive space
2. Making coasters out of writable CDs and DVDs.

I don\'t know why Ubuntu continues to include this POS in their distributions!

CRap , crash every time i use , lost all DVDs on it.

Says it needs plug ins can\'t find out what they are nor where to get them.
Forums provide no answers but confirm I am not alone.
Shame -I love Linux Mint but why does it bundle this rubbish?

This program must have 10 bugs in each line of code.

Doesn't work. (Windows compatibility mode - loop bug)

This is the most useless burner I have tried!
Why the **** would Ubuntu include a piece of crap like this?
Something that actually works would have been my first choice.
Are you guys getting kickbacks from the movie/music industry because your program prevents piracy by not working??

Brasero is JUNK! It won't burn DVDs! The "burn" button is grayed out when you try to burn anything. DO NOT USE! If you want to spend literally HOURS in the Ubuntu forums looking at non answers to try and get this hunk of crap to work then install it. Seriously, you'll be pulling your hair out in frustration trying to get brasero to work!!!!!

Used to work great. I used to love it. 0.8.2 is buggier than a farm in midsummer! Locks up adding audio files. Insists an EMPTY CD is full.0.8.3 refuses to compile so I can't even see if that one works any better.

Basically this program is a hit or miss application, at least on my gnome desktop. Every other time it displays an error and scraps a CD. I'm using K3B instead.
