    This is a must with vers 8 & 9. Gets rid of all the nags and poor functions of other tools and utils. The interface is a beauty. Great job.

    I clicked on the Excellent buttons based on my experience with Blueman under Hardy and earlier versions of Ubuntu. However, after upgrading to Intrepid it will no longer launch. And in Synaptic the only option is to uninstall - there is no reinstall option.

    So I came here and downloaded the 0.5 version, untarred it, and tried to install it per the README file (sudo make install). However, I got an error:

    jjj@Devil7:~/Software/blueman_0.5$ sudo make install
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "setup.py", line 4, in
    from Pyrex.Distutils import build_ext
    ImportError: No module named Pyrex.Distutils
    make: *** [install] Error 1

    I tried to install Pyrex.Distutils but I can't find the module. I note from the README that it also requires pyrex, python-dev, bluez-utils and bluez-libs. i cannot find pyrex or bluez-libs either.

    Intrepid broke a lot of bluetooth devices. I hope people can get Blueman working again because we really need it.
