    gday everyone here is a fix to enable the webcam for Australis Os 12.04.1 the webcam was disabled by default due to an issue with the installer but here is how to enable it again http://www.hecticgeek.com/2012/10/how-to-disable-your-webcam-in-ubuntu/

    The distro did not detect the built-in webcam, which was detected by any other distro I tried. Hence I was not able to use Skype or Cheese. Other than that - top marks.

    Now, here we have a distro that works any which way. It is a pleasure to work with, it looks clean and good, it's got nearly everything in it and what it hasn't you get get from synaptic. Printer configuration, Simple scan, even Opera is there. Even Skype ! What more could a heart made of Linux wish for? The unmistakable Aussie touch. Thanks Jesse, MATE !!
