    I downloaded the player tarball for linux and followed the instructions as in tar-xvf install................ It extracts libflashplayer.so and does not create the folder as the instructions suggest. Can't seem to find support on adobe site to find out ehy this is happening.

    I have updated before using this method but seems the download is broken.
