Transmission is a free BitTorrent client written from scratch in C. Transmission is still in early development stage.
Transmission aims to be as efficient as possible. Transmission runs on Mac OS X, BeOS, Linux and NetBSD (and probably on other UNIX-like systems too). Only the Mac OS X version has a graphical interface yet.
Transmission is released under the MIT license.
Note: If you used a previous version you may need to delete the .transmission folder on your home directory.

Note: If you have problems downloading Transmission, please try to stop using your download manager and avoid right clicking on files.
Also, check your firewall settings, because some mirrors may require that you do not block the HTTP referers.
