- 2Click Update (GUI):
- New feature: RamCleanApt, which optimizes RAM memory freeing up some MB's.

- added checksumming in speed_apt module and got rid of the need for a temporary file that stores url's of the packages that are meant to be downloaded.
- removed the "Do you want to continue?" check in 2cuCORE edition as this will cause the crontab to stop the process of upgrading
- removed any dependency installer script. Dependencies are installed automatically at the first run of 2Click Update and 2cuCORE

New in uCareSystem 5.5 (Apr 14, 2010)
- Modular Scriptig: Entire code has change introducing Modular Scripting. Every feature, past or new features are modules that load automatically with 2clickUpdate
- Speed-apt module: A new feature/module is introduced, called Speed-apt, that will boost the downloading of package upgrades in much faster way than traditional "apt-get upgrade" does.
- Translations are alredy 10!: Now 2clickUpdate is available also in German and Hebrew. Keep translating people... its fun ! Go now to https://translations.launchpad.net/2clickupdate and instantly start translation.
New in uCareSystem 5.4 (Apr 1, 2010)
- Now there is no need to make 2clickUpdate manually executable. When you first run ” auto_dependency_installer ” it will make 2clickUpdate executable. After that you just need to double click 2clickUpdate and press “run”.
- After fixing some minor Bugs an icon in upper left corner of 2clickUpdate is added. Last but not least, I would like to thank all the contributor that made the translation files available for this version. In this release two more translations are added (Bulgarian and Italian, please check contributors file for the translators). Available translations are:

- 2click Update CORE 5.4:
- With these release there are some internal changes in the code. A welcome menu is introduced and an “installer” script alongside with the CORE edition.
- >From now on, you just run in terminal the “CORE auto installer” which will make 2clickUpdateCORE executable and install it into your system (in /usr/bin). This way you can run CORE wherever you are (path) in terminal. There will be no need to be in the path, where 2clickUpdateCORE file is. After installation just hit “2clickUpdateCORE.sh” (Tab completion works) in terminal.
- Lastly, when you run 2click Update CORE edition, there is a welcome menu introducing what CORE will do to your system, and an animation that will inform you how many tasks left to auto complete.
New in uCareSystem 5.3 (Mar 22, 2010)
- Fixed Bug affecting all previous releases : This bug prevents 2clickUpdate to show messages in user defined language even if user has copied the language pack of his/her choice.
- Added Russian and Spanish language pack. Now languages available are:

New in uCareSystem 5.2 (Mar 20, 2010)
- With this version of 2click Update of 5.x series a fast translation method is introduced. You can now translate instantly this software into your local language in 2 minutes ! Just visit https://translations.launchpad.net/2clickupdate and start the translation in the most easy way ever made available.
- To install and be able to see program messages in your preferred language just create, as super user (root), a folder named as " locale " under /usr/local/share/ and then copy into this new folder you've crated the corresponding folder from " translation pack ". If your environment is configured for example in Greek language and you've copied the " el " folder to the previously mentioned place, you will see the program messages in Greek language.
New in uCareSystem 5.1 (Mar 4, 2010)
- With this release I am trying a new approach internally (in terms of code) and structurally that will lead to a better expandable and maintainable software. Its possible that until the version 6, code will be changed in 90% by rewriting it from scratch.
- Dependency installer :
- In 5.x series, you will notice that there is a special script that does what it says. It will automatically install all the dependencies of 2clickUpdate without the need to search for them in your package manager. In future releases I hope th at this script will do more.
- Notification Balloons :
- Now, a cool new balloon will notify you that your system is under maintenance. In future release there could be more informative balloons�.
- Contributors :
- From now on, there is a special file called CONTRIBUTORS that will include in a centralized way, the names of people that contributed in any way to 2clickUpdate and helped me to made it better.
New in uCareSystem 5.0 (Feb 21, 2010)
- After a lot of consideration, version number changed from 4.1 to 5.0. This is due to the birth of a new modified, gui-less 2clickUpdate which is named "2clickUpdateCORE".
- 2clickUpdate is for Desktop
- 2clickUpdateCORE is for Power Users, Administrators, Servers, Workstations where GUI
- is not necessarily available.

New in uCareSystem 4.0.9 Pre (Feb 15, 2010)
- Everything is almost ready. Code is mature but still open for bug reporting. No new features will be available at 4.1, that will be the stable release and will be more complete in terms of documentation like ChageLog file, translation files etc. Now fresh-new screenshot available in the package.
New in uCareSystem 4.0.2 RC1 (Feb 13, 2010)
- This release is, mostly a bug fix release that was found in "4.0.1" release. The bug was in "aptitude" function that made script not functional when trying to install untrusted packages from repositories that a user has manually added to his/her package manager

- I am releasing a fresh new version that is for testing purposes and bug reporting. It is functional and tested for over a week. But deferent environments may bring up some bug's that I didn't notice. So please report any comment or bugs.
