  • VStudio now supports SSH connections to remote database servers such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Valentina.
  • A Data Transfer Wizard was provided for transferring records of one/few tables from one database to another.
  • The free version is able to save diagrams and do reverse engineering (i.e. import of existing DB objects).
  • The PRO version adds forward engineering.
  • VENGINE supports a "MAIL" SQL command, which can be used in a Valentina Server to be called by a schedule, sending PDF/HTML reports by email generated by the "SELECT ... FOR REPORT" command, and so on.
  • Some fixes were made to resolve issues with the ODBC driver for the Pervasive database.

  • Valentina Reports can use SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, ODBC, and Valentina DB, and has been integrated into Valentina Studio, Valentina Server, and Valentina Report ADKs for all major languages.

  • Valentina Reports has interactive live previewing while you perform steps with a wizard.

  • The free iValentina database apps for iPad and iPhone incorporate new usability improvements, including new tab panels for quickly switching between database views and enhancements for the virtual keyboard.

  • This version introduces Valentina Reports, which let you design reports visually in the Valentina Studio Pro.
  • You can now keep a project with reports on a remote Valentina Server, which now a report server as well as a DB server.
  • You can access a local or remote project from any supported language to produce reports in formats such as PDF, picture, LaTeX, and HTML.
  • Reports can also be printed or saved or shown in a browser.
  • Dozens of improvements were made in the Valentina engine.
  • Major improvements were made in SQL and stored procedures.
  • Support for the iPhone was introduced.
