    Easy Peasy 1.5 - Changelog

What's new in Easy Peasy 1.5:

    · New visual look by Lasse Sætre and Mark Basset
    · Awesome Linux kernel (2.6.30) optimized for netbooks with faster startup built by Martin Bammer
    · Support for more netbooks
    · Hybrid image (both .img and .iso at the same time) by Phil Howard. This makes it possible to move the image to the usb stick with unetbootin or dd etc. Which means it’s now possible to install from a Mac
    · Many bug fixes
    · Upgraded software (Picasa, OpenOffice 3.1 etc.)
    · Built off Ubuntu 9.04
    · Smaller harddrive footprint
    · Uses the new ext4 filesystem as default
    · UXA by default - the first distro to deliver real composite desktop which means it’s possible to run 3D in 3D (ie. the netbook interface and desktop effects)
    · Banshee as default music player instead of Songbird
    · Lots of clever solutions when it comes to upgrades through repositories. Ubuntu security upgrades are available to easypeasy users as fast as they’re released, while easypeasy isn’t overwritten by Ubuntu.

What's new in Easy Peasy 1.5 Beta 1:

    · Installed customized (not yet customized) Firefox 3.5. Jon
    · Installed OpenOffice 3.1. Jon
    · Uses Martin's kernel (not yet). Martin
    · Easier install (one-click installation). Jon
    · Better looking. Lasse and Marky

    · Our own icon for Ubiquity / Installer. Now shows Ubuntu being installed

    · Blueprint: Firefox changes in 2.0. Lasse
    · Reduce the harddrive footprint / strip Ubuntu more, see base below

    · Wuby and other windows applications from livecd

    · Thunderbird v2 instead of Evolution (test)
    · Fork ubiquity

    · Set ext4 as default: New file system which brings faster booting, loading and work flow
    · Change "Ubuntu" with "Easy Peasy"
    · Default to using the whole HD (as Windows users would use Wubi and Linux users want to get rid off Xandros/Linus)

What's new in Easy Peasy 1.1:

    · A brand new look
    · New icon theme, a modified version of Victor Castillejos Gnome Colors, by lassegs
    · New wallpaper which is part of the new visual profile (i.e. on Twitter), also by lassegs
    · New splash screen and login screen, still by lassegs screenshot-easy-peasy-1.1
    · Lots of bugs fixed
    · Many upgrades, like Songbird and Flash New webpage
    · I think it looks good now and we can really start working on Easy Peasy 2.0

What's new in Easy Peasy 8.04.1:

    · 8.04.1 introduces a new interface, support for more Eees, faster boot and takes up less space.
