    What's new in Nagios Appender 2.0.1:

    · This version fixes asynchronous sending, makes socket timeouts controllable via the log4j configuration, lets a configurable buffer cache messages for later delivery if the NSCA server is down (including calculated message delay), and separates the protocol into Nsca.java, which can be used independently from log4j.



    What's new in Nagios Appender 1.5.0:

    March 20th, 2009

    · Nsca.java allows clients to send messages directly to the NSCA server without any dependence on Log4j.
