August 19th, 2009· To all of you who had problems with the Firefox Mac OS X install, please re-try as the Mac install has been fixed and should now be working on both Intel and PowerPC v10.4 and v10.5. Thank you for the feedback which helped to pinpoint the bug quickly, and I apologize for the problems. Please see the note below about outstanding Mac / Firefox problems.
· This plugin supports: Windows 32-bit (XP,Vista,7,...) and 64-bit. Also Mac OS X on powerpc, intel and universal. Also Linux x86 both 32-bit and 64-bit. If you cannot install your platform from this website (addons.mozilla.org ) then please click http://www.scarleltine.com/npcml/download.html which supports a broader range of platform.
· Mac OS X users of Firefox v3.x and SeaMonkey v2.x have outstanding bugs (bugzilla 474491 and bugzilla 505135) which mean that the plugin does not always refresh. Until these mozilla bugs are fixed, I recommend using Safari, Firefox v2.x, SeaMonkey v1.x or any other Mac OS X browser, for viewing molecules.
