New in Lifeograph 1.3.0 (Jan 18, 2016)

  • The focus of 1.3 development round was on the to-do related features such as checklists and to-do entries. In addition, there are numerous improvements and refinements in many different areas.
  • This version updates the diary version, so users of Android and Windows versions should also upgrade those platforms (to v0.6 and v0.3 respectively) to be able to work on their diary files everywhere.

  • 1.2 series comes with a big refresh on the user interface. Utilizing the new possibilities in the Gtk+ Lifeograph is more beautiful than ever and also much easier and more fun to use! But that's not all. There are also some improvements and feature additions in this release such as an improved to-do management and a revamped drag and drop system.
  • This release uses the same diary version as the Android version. So, diary files can be exchanged now!

  • 0.10.0 is the new stable version and a major milestone of Lifeograph in that it brings a most requested feature: support for images within text editor. Although images still cannot be saved in diary file, they can now be displayed as thumbnails. But this is just the beginning. Planned are great improvements on this front for future releases. For current possibilities, see Lifeograph Manual which (besides covering much more subjects) now makes good use of this feature.

  • 0.9.0 is the first version after adopting the new versioning scheme. According to this, there will be no beta releases --only release candidates. So odd minor numbers no longer denote unstable releases. With this scheme, stable releases will be much more frequent even tough they will come with much shorter lists of new features.
  • A worth mentioning change in this release is introduction of a user manual. Although it is far from being complete, it still contains many useful information for new users.
