Jan 28, 2014- Keyboard configuration via the boot menu now works as expected.
- The Linux kernel was upgraded to v3.12.
- The welcome application and the partition manager now work in all desktop environments, not just KDE.
- Some applications were backported and added (Stopmotion, Synfigstudio, and RawTherapee), and many other applications were upgraded (LibreOffice, Krita, darktable, Blender, Ardour, Dia, Wireshark, GnuCash, VirtualBox, SuperTuxKart, and more.).

- The firewall configuration module now has a syntax checker.
- External backup partitions are now mounted in a root-only subdirectory to prevent user access independently from the backup partition file system.
- The firmware packages for wireless cards were added.
- Printers can now be configured via KDE systemsettings.
- Many software packages (Linux kernel, LibreOffice, VirtualBox, Java, fglrx, and nvidia drivers, HP printer drivers, etc.) were upgraded.
