  • [Installation] Updated Windows Tomcat default port back to 8080. This only applies to new installations. Upgrades are not affected by this change.

  • In the administrative interface, a basic authentication option was added, an "Assigned Hardware" tab was added to the user detail page, and serial number and status are now selectable columns.
  • Contract searching was added.
  • A Portuguese localization was added.
  • A problem in which the follow-up field was not included in an email message was fixed.
  • A problem was fixed in which the hardware detail page returned an error when there is software associated without an available license.

New in Kwok Information Server 2.6.8 (Oct 2, 2008)

  • This release has an email settings test, an updated admin UI, and a config for allowing blank user passwords.
  • Users with blank passwords cannot log in.
  • It adds searching by custom fields, issue export, and searching by hardware components.
  • It is updated to display a license note on the Hardware Detail page's Assigned Software tab, and on Assign Software License workflow's license selectbox, so it would appear "XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX (Note on Serial).
