June 24th, 2011· This release adds a new option for reminders AFTER the main alarm. Another new option will wake the system from suspend when an alarm triggers. A new command line option can disable alarm monitoring at startup. The display of left hand buttons in time spinboxes in Oxygen style has been fixed. It includes other bug fixes, and a new Bosnian translation. KDE 3 is no longer supported.
December 15th, 2010· This release fixes working-time-only alarms sometimes not triggering if KAlarm is started up outside working hours. It fixes the system tray icon showing at login when configured not to. The disabled system tray icon is now more distinguishable for color blind users. There are other more minor bug fixes.
October 5th, 2010· Adds the facility to allow alarms whose text is generated by a command to have pre- and post-alarm actions (which was accidentally omitted from the KDE 4 variant of version 2.6.0).
· It also fixes a couple of crashes.
October 4th, 2010· It provides the new option to suppress notification of pre-alarm action errors, which facilitates use of the pre-alarm action to determine whether the alarm should appear. Pre- and post-alarm actions are now possible with alarms whose texts are generated by commands. The KDE 4 version now warns at startup if the system's time zones cannot be accessed and only UTC can be used. It fixes some crashes, and a number of other bugs. A full Kazakh translation is now included.
June 14th, 2010· It fixes a KDE 4 bug where the alarm edit dialogue invoked by the alarm window Edit button did not save changes. Another KDE 4 bug which prevented the deferral of non-recurring alarms is also fixed. There are a number of other bug fixes for both KDE 3 and KDE 4.

· The KDE 4 version fixes a crash restoring alarms at login, the ignoring of alarm volume settings, and KMail functions being omitted.

November 28th, 2008· Version 2.1.0 has a simplified alarm edit dialog, with a More/Less Options button. It has a new option to exclude holidays. The Preferences dialog organization is improved. Alarms now trigger correctly after wakeup from hibernation. The units for reminder time in the edit dialog are now tailored to the delay until the alarm is due.
September 27th, 2008· Version 2.0.5 fixes very high CPU usage by KAlarm when there are alarms with sub-repetitions, or deferrals, with periods greater than 1 week.
September 8th, 2008· Version 2.0.3 uses the standard KDE color picker for color selection. Alarm colors are shown in text entry fields. A background color selector is shown for file display alarms. Prevent quit when the main window is closed but the system tray icon is visible.
