  • This release has been built from scratch to slim down the distro as make room for more tools.
  • The entire menu structure has been improved with now most of the installed tools accessible straight from the gnome menu!
  • The installer has been fixed, now when you install all of the theme, menus and settings will be ported across to the newly created installed user.

  • For those who don't know of GnackTrack, it's much like backtrack, the KDE based distribution but GnackTrack is based on gnome! For all those hackers, crackers, and pentesters out there who want gnome, check this out!

New in GnackTrack Beta 1 (Apr 26, 2010)

  • After a little bit of work over the weekend I have now released GnackTrack beta1. I have fixed the annoying address location entry field in nautilus. I hated the way the navigation was with buttons, I like to type the directory I want to goto! I have added a list of apps to the Gnome Mene, this includes services so it's easier to start and stop them. I haven't had a huge amount of time to perform testing so if anyone is available to look into this for me I would be very appreciative.
