ComicMaster Changelog

What's new in ComicMaster 0068

Aug 23, 2010
  • The main change is the new configuration database, which unfortunately is not compatible with old configuration files. This change was necessary to allow you to identify a comic not only by name, but by name and volume.
  • Several minor improvements have been added. For example, the window caption is updated when more than one comic slot is used and the current slot changes.
  • Now unused titles can not only be hidden, but also "unhidden" again.
  • The function that made image rotations permanent was broken and has been fixed.
  • A few help dialogs have been added.

New in ComicMaster 0067 (Jul 31, 2010)

  • The transition from qmake to cmake did not go as smoothly as it initially appeared to be.
  • A bug in CMakeLists.txt prevented the creation of necessary config files. This did not affect users of previous versions of ComicMaster, but new installations were not functional. This bug has been fixed.

New in ComicMaster 0063 (Sep 7, 2009)

  • The file selector box is faster and much more responsive on slow filesystems, e.g. NFS mounted folders.
  • Now more than one comic archive can be opened at a time.
  • This feature allows it to easily spot differences in the quality between scans.

New in ComicMaster 0061 (Aug 12, 2009)

  • I hate you all. ;-) No seriously, more than 2400 downloads of ComicMaster.0061 and not a single user drops me a not that is does not compile. Hey, I do not bite.
  • Yes, I found the energy to continue the development. Or better, I rediscovered my passion for comics. This means I used ComicMaster and found a few more bug or bad gui design.
  • First thing I fixed is the key code customisation widget. The old one was ugly to use. The new one should be much mir self-explaining. Furthermore I added a feature to store and restore keyboard layouts.
  • The fileselector box has been upgraded. For packrats like me, who have thousands of unread comics in a single folder, it is much easier to navigate now.
  • The bookmarks in the fileselector box can be changed now. A special function has beed added to 'rebase' the bookmarks. Usefull if one keeps his comics on external drives, whichs mount point changes (for what reasons ever).
