    · X segmentation fault no longer occurs after applying reflections or rotations on some systems that support Xrandr 1.2 or higher
    · Catalyst Control Center hot plugging a secondary display no longer causes screen corruption in clone mode
    · Monitor are now disabled after removing the secondary display when system is in standby
    · Some systems now report CrossFire adapters available during driver re-install
    · On some multi-monitor configurations disabling one display no longer causes both displays to become disabled
    · X Server does not intermittently fail to start on some multi adapter configurations

    The following section provides a brief description of resolved issues with the latest version of the ATI Catalyst Linux software suite. These include:
    · Catalyst Control Center, the primary display is not identified when using the Identify Displays button
    · Error may occur while setting the TV geometry
    · Game corruption might be observed in full screen when 2 monitors are connected and
    · RandR 1.2 is enabled
    · TV screen corruption may be visible while starting the X-server on some ASICs
    · Detecting second display using amdccle "Detect Display" button may result in error and will require a relaunch to detect both displays properly
    · [SUSE 11.X x86] System may fail to respond when executing multiple server generations

    The following section provides a brief description of known issues associated with the latest version of ATI CatalystTM Linux software suite. These issues include:
    · System may become unresponsive when toggling between virtual terminals in multi-head configuration with application running
    · Starting X with a second hotplugged display may cause segmentation fault
    · Video playback may exhibit corruption when desktop effects are enabled and
    · Composite is not explicitly disabled
    · [SUSE11] The display might not turn off while disabling the output
    · [Ubuntu 8.10] System may become inoperative when starting X on surround view system
    · The engine clock and memory clock values may be incorrectly reported by ATI CAL as 0MHz

    · This release of ATI CatalystTM Linux introduces support for the following new operating
    system:

    Support for New Linux Operating Systems:
    · RedFlag DT 6.0 sp2 production support
    · RedFlag DT 7.0 support (early look)
    · SLED and SLES 11 support (early look)
    · New AMD Display Library (ADL) SDK
    · AMD Display Library (ADL) SDK is designed to access display driver functionality
    · for all ATI Radeon graphics accelerators and FirePro graphics accelerators
    · The SDK supports Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux - 32 and 64 bit variants
    · The SDK can be used from both unmanaged (C/C++) and managed (C#) applications
    · - samples are provided within the SDK
    · The ADL SDK is available to the public via the Developer relations site

    ATI Catalyst Control Center Linux Edition – Display Device property page enhancement:
    · This release of ATI CatalystTM Linux enables users to configure new display settings within the ATI Catalyst Control Center Linux Edition.
    · HDTV mode support (720p, 1080i, 1080p, and custom) for digital displays
    · Color temperature controls for digital displays
    · Hue, Saturation, Brightness, and Contrast color controls for digital displays
    · Digital display controls (Overscan support, HDMI settings, DVI settings)

    OpenGL support for Compositing managers:
    · Added support for the use of OpenGL clients under compositing environments such as compiz and kwin as found in Ubuntu and SuSE

    Resolved Issues:
    · The following section provides a brief description of resolved issues with the latest
    version of the ATI CatalystTM Linux software suite. These include:
    · When X is killed, the desktop background no longer displays :0.1 remains
    · Catalyst Control Center: Primary display manager no longer missing on systems with dual head enabled
    · TV screen corruption no longer visible when TV standards aspect is set
    · Display ports now detects properly with XRANDR for specific ASICs
    · Catalyst Control Center: X no longer fails when the resolution is set to less than 1680x1050 through displays manager
    · [SUSE11-64] X-Server will start properly when the driver is installed using RPM method
    · The external LCD no longer displays garbage when pressing Fn+F4
    · The internal LCD will no longer move with touchpad after pressing Fn+F4
    · Video playback now functions properly after resuming from S3/S4 hibernation



    What's new in ATI Radeon Linux Display Drivers 9.2:

    · Resolved visible corruption when starting MythTV frontend in full screen
    · Catalyst Control Center, disabling primary display and re-launching CCC caused a Floating Point Exception
    · Google Earth failed to start
    · With some ATI adapters the display port monitor was not detected after being hotplugged
    · Able to reboot or shutdown when ATI Catalyst Control Center is opened
    · Catalyst Control Center, displayed the wrong version using the Informa- tion/Driver Version
    · No audio output was available through HDMI
    · Connecting both a CRT and DFP display device no longer results in the CRT failing to display an image if the DFP is disconnected and then reconnected to the system

    · Maya crash fixed when using the following settings subinvisions Axis and subinvisions Height are set to 2000
    · Tearing no longer occurs during picture-in-picture playback of H.264,VC-1,MPEG2 files on SUSE
    · Playing AVI files with Mplayer in full screen no longer causes Mplayer to stop responding
    · Resolved, Video does not resize or may appear filled with pink/black when changing from a low to high resolution
