    4PSA VoipNow 2.5.1 - Changelog

    What's new in 4PSA VoipNow 2.5.1:

    February 1st, 2011

    · The new release of VoipNow® Professional comes with a completely redesigned provisioning system aiming to ease and simplify equipment provisioning to end-users, which is usually a time-consuming and difficult to handle job. Managing phone devices can now be done with greater flexibility because the module comes with delegated administration, new possibilities to control provisioning templates, and an open format that allows service providers to rapidly add their own equipment that might not be supported by VoipNow

    What's new in 4PSA VoipNow 2.0.3:

    September 10th, 2009

    · 4PSA VoipNow 2.0.3 helps providers offer better services to customers located in multiple time zones. These users will be able to access information in the web interface and over the phone in their local time. The new version also comes with improved CallerID handling, infrastructure centralized billing capabilities, as well as more detailed reporting.

    · VoipNow 2.0.3 also introduces easy to setup SIP trunking features. With the new add-on, providers are able to offer SIP trunking services to customers having on premises PBX systems, making the first step to migrate them to a fully integrated hosted Unified Communications service.

    · Latest VoipNow version comes with the new Cloud Billing support, the single point, but still distributed infrastructure billing capabilities supported by upcoming Rack-Soft products. The new features automate billing in cloud environments and standardize it across multiple platforms.

    What's new in 4PSA VoipNow 2.0.2:

    July 29th, 2009

    · 4PSA VoipNow 2.0.2 introduces various improvements and new features like
    · number portability, Amazon EC2 support, SIP server multi-network, SIP server
    · behind NAT, server generated presence, as well as important performance
    · optimizations. VoipNow can handle a higher number of concurrent calls and
    · more calls per second with fewer resources spent.

    · The new presence capabilities involve the server in keeping track of
    · extensions' status. VoipNow knows at any time what happens with extensions
    · and is able to publish this information for interested parties. Extensions
    · can also update their own status.
