sat2xml 0.2

sat2xml provides an utility to parse the EPG data on Astra 19.2.

sat2xml is a small utility to parse the private sections of the Gist EPG on Astra 19.2. It produce an XMLTV file that contains the Hoerzu EPG data. You can use this to program your TV recording system.

Please have a look to the script dumpgist.sh
You _must_ modify the installation path of the "szap" and "dvbsnoop" tools.
This script tune to the HOERZU Transponder and dump the sections to some files.

After running this script (8 min) you can call the sat2xml programm to produce the xml
file.
