kmd5 0.90

kmd5 is a Linux KDE GUI application that computes the MD5 sums for a file or series of files. Its primary function is to provide a GUI replacement of the md5sum console application.

Additionally, service menus are included giving the user the option to compute MD5 sums by right-clicking a file or directory.

Here are some key features of "kmd5":

· Generates MD5 sums from a GUI
· Allows checksums to be saved to disk
· Ability to filter files by name



The idea for this application was gleaned from a shell script that performed a similiar function. This application is more advanced and professional however.
