TACompile is a script that will automatically check to see if a Linux system's kernel needs to be updated. If there is a newer version available, it will download it, extract it, patch it with a selection of patches, perform a manual or automatic configure, compile it, move the binaries, and set up GRUB/LILO.
It does all this in a user friendly way, minimizing hassle, and can easily be modified to customize the configuration and compilation process.
