Squid2MySQL is an accounting system for squid. It includes monthly, daily, and timed detail levels, and uses MySQL for log storage.

Here are some key features of "Squid2MySQL":

Authentication for Squid users via MySQL database.
Traffic limitations by setting maximum daily, weekly and monthly downloads for each user.
Monthly generated detail statistics with cache and real on-line time used.
Reports of current month statistics for each user in any time.
Users properties management, includes real name, phone, e-mail, password and other.
WinGate sucks ;)

Requirements:

Linux (any version)
squid (version 2.x and higher)
Apache with PHP and MySQL support
PERL with DBI module, which shipped with Squid2MySQL.
Hardware configuration doesn't matter, but at least iP200MMX with 64M RAM.

What's New in This Release:

A fix for a backup log bug (thanks Kirill Mityagin).
squid2mysql.sql connect to database bug fixed (thanks to Stuckenberger, Patrick).
A fix for a squid2mysql script bug (thanks to all people who complaining about non-working logging :)) and many thanks to Sergey Kasatikoff, who first of all corrects an error :)
Existing user's info and creating new user now opens in a new window.
Thanks to bpao@airbase.dyndns.org for some ideas and patches.
Now archiving rdnload table too.
Several errors in sqauth were fixed. However, that's don't guarantee his fine work :)
Host support was removed. Please use 0.9.0 release.
URL search and user search was added.
Archiving and restoring was updated.
