Openjsgl 1.0

Openjsgl is an implementation of the standard graphics pipeline written in Javascript.
Openjsgl is an implementation of the standard graphics pipeline written in Javascript. It follows the OpenGL model very closely and even deviates from the standard operations in the same places OpenGL does. The API is again similar to that of OpenGL. This was done to allow an easy transition from OpenGL to openjsgl. Openjsgl implements the following graphics pipeline operations:

-Transformations: Scaling, rotating and translating are supported.
-Lighting: Openjsgl supports up to 8 lights. The developer can create spotlights as well as directional and positional lights.
-Clipping
-Backface culling
-Smooth and flat shading
-Blending

Currently, all these operations are done in software. The next step is to add hardware acceleration. Openjsgl uses the canvas HTML element to render colored pixels on a web page. The canvas HTML element is only supported in the Firefox, Opera and Safari browsers.
