Notes is a small utility that displays some configurable notes. When you click on the note the buttons and the entry appear. just enter any text to into the entry and press 'Apply' or so...

How to install:

Extract the archive, and open a terminal
cd to the unzipped folder
type:
./configure
make
sudo make install
or:
su
make install
This depends on your distro.

then just run the 'notes' command
