    MIME-Editor description

    MIME-Editor is a graphical editor for the freedesktop.org MIME database.

    MIME-Editor is a GTK frontend to the freedesktop.org shared MIME database, which is used by ROX, the GTK 2.3 file chooser and soon, KDE and GNOME.

    Rules for recognising file types by name or by contents can be specified, as well as a textual description of the type.
