Kommander Action Proxy Demo makes the MainWindow act like a Kommander widget. That means control of actions, toolbars and statusbar. Using the Action proxy you can now do most of what is available to QMainWindow and children. It makes developing MainWindow applications enjoyable. This demo is intended to make those benefits more clear and tangible by showing in action some of what Kommander and the Action Proxy can do.
Kommander on KDE3 has used a very early Qt Designer editor. As such we were never able to get the MainWindow to work as a Kommander widget. However Kommander can run a MainWindow from Designer, it is just limited to signals from the window to Kommander widgets. This means it's able to present a working program, but when you start using it you come up against a number of irritating limitations.
