changelog

GpsDrive is an open source graphical software written in GTK+ and specifically designed to display your current position via a NMEA capable GPS receiver on a zoomable map.

GpsDrive supports almost all Garmin GPS receivers that have a serial output, as well as other GPS receivers that support the NMEA protocol. Its user interface displays speed, position and altitude.

Maps can be uploaded automatically, map zooming is available, as well as sliding controls, and support for nautical miles, statute miles, and kilometer units. GpsDrive is a cross-platform application that supports Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X operating systems.
