I really dislike etc-update in the console so here is a GUI version. Gentoo GUI etc-update uses Kompare from kdesdk for the visual diff. You could easily make it kdiff3 if you like, but I thought more people would have Kompare.
This allows you to test it in user mode, but obviously no files are written. Run it with kdesu as the warning dialog indicates. Use at your own risk. It has had some testing and seems to work okay. If I find bugs I will update immediately. Let me know if you find bugs and how you like it.

What's New in This Release:
· Added the ability to take a directory at once and accept the new files unless they had been deferred.
· There is also extensive Whatsthis (?) help on the execute buttons.
· I did these changes because recent updates were through up over 100 pointless flagged files.
