Flashtool 0.9.11.0

A smart utility for rooting Android phones, installing and optimizing apps and services
Flashtool is a free and graphical flashing software written in Java and designed especially to be used for rooting and flashing mobile devices powered by Android.

It allows users to flash original Images (Android 1.6, 2.1, 2.3 Images), root their phone, install Recovery, Busybox, custom kernels, clean their ROMs (remove /system/apps apps of your choice), or clear dalvik cache.

With Flashtool, users will also be able to optimize (install of JIT v2) their Android phone, customize (installs apps found in the custom/apps folder of the flashtool), clean uninstalled (remove any references to system apps removed in the Clean step), edit any text file on the device and rebrand their device(s).

To install this software, extract the archive and add the following rules to /etc/udev :

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ACTION=="add", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0fce", ATTRS{idProduct}=="*", MODE="0777"

Apply the latest update (each update is cumulative).

What's New in This Release:
  • This version is a big split with every previous ones. And not fully featured as previous can be. I changed the UI framework from Swing to SWT because of a better integration with Mac UI.
