Dots is a braille translation application for the GNOME desktop environment.
Note:
In order to install python bindings for liblouisxml you need to patch liblouisxml 2.1.0 of svn trunk with patch included on the source dir:
cd /path/to/liblouis-xml-2.1.0
cat /path/to/dots/liblouisxml-install-python.patch | patch -p 0
