BOSS Bulk Converter is released with BOSS, a GNU/Linux distribution developed by C-DAC. It can converter large number of documents at one snap.
This is a simple application, aimed for the people who are trying to migrate their documents from one platform to other (say from windows to open source).
It takes a directory which contains documents of a single format and outputs a directory of a different format. The available conversions are
* Text (say from txt to pdf)
* Spreadsheet (say from xls to odp)
* Presentation (say from odt to sxi)
* Drawing (say from sxd to odg)
The most attractable feature is that, the converter allows you to convert more than one document at a time.
