katedataedit project is a small kate plugin that displays the content of a fixed lenght file using a record description that you can easily create from inside Kate itself.

The goal of this plugin is to create file description and parse data files according to this description, all from inside Kate (that is the text editor I use the most while I work, since it's a nice programmer editor and general purpose one).
