PyJflash is a Japanese flashcard conversion utility, editor, and viewer.
PyJflash is a Japanese flashcard conversion utility, editor, and viewer. It loads and saves Edict (UTF, EUC and SJS), JFC, JQuickTrans (BFG), Kanji Gold vocabulary (DIC), PenPen (LVL), PyKanjiCard (DICT), Unicode TSV files (TSV and TXT), and Wakan CSV files.

It can print, show a print preview, and save HTML of word lists and unknown words. Popups give meanings and readings of Kanji and unknown words. JLPT vocabulary, grammar 1-4, and Mainichi Shimbun frequency files are included.

Editor

· Insert and Delete for both labels and rows
· Clipboard support including Cut, Copy and Paste
· Support for very large quiz files with 500,000+ fields supported

Viewer

· Popups give meanings and readings of Kanji and unknown words
· Unknown words come up more often
· Quiz state is saved so you can come back later
· All unknown words are kept track of so you can print them later
· Keyboard support so you don't have to use the mouse

· PyJflash Editor now creates rotating backups on save

· Fixed a nasty Edict-saving glitch
· Added a central launching program with statistics
· Removed Edict_sub file because of it's size
· Removed JLPT Grammar because of errors, may add back later
· Fixed some printing-related problems, especially on linux
· Fixed pressing right button doesn't add to don't show buffer
· Fixed various other miscellaneous bugs
