    Kate Data Reader description

katedataedit project is a small kate plugin that displays the content of a fixed length file.

Kate data reader plugin is a quick and dirty hack (so far) made to cope with the countless data files I handle daily that have fixed lenght fields.

The goal of this plugin is to create file description and parse data files according to this description, all from inside Kate (that is the text editor I use the most while I work, since it's a nice programmer editor and general purpose one).

ATM there are no packages, no tarballs or whatever, just plain source code and a KDevelop project, I'll look into building .deb packages as soon as I am able to spend some time on it again.

On my laptop, it just works for what I need, but I plan to improve it and publish it on the dot.
