The GEdit-Plugins-Extra package is an unofficial set of plugins for GEdit.
GPE (GEdit Plugins Extra) contains a set of thirdparty Plugins for GEdit, which I found on the Web, bundled and modified if nessacary.

Advanced Bookmarks
· a bookmarking tool
Align
· align blocks of text into columns
Auto Tab
· Automatically detect tab preferences
Browser-Preview
· Preview a file in a browser
Class Browser
· Ctags based class browser
Current Line Highlight
· Change the appearance of the current line
Find In Documents
· Search in all open files
Line-Spacing
· in/decrease space between lines
Reopen Tabs
· Remember open tabs on exit and re-open them on the next start
Save without trailing space
· Strip all trailing whitespace before saving
Split View 2
· create a split view
Installation:
./configure --prefix=/usr
make install
