Eggy is an IDE written in python. Eggy does most things you expect from an IDE, it has syntax highlighting, template features, options for compiling and running your code, auto completion and more. Nothing new here. However, eggy's hidden powers lie with support for group projects, which allows users from around the world to connect to each other and work together on a project, and see live changes being made. Users can communicate through the chat mechanism, add, remove, and rename files to and from the project, sync files and exploit other useful features.

Eggy support a bunch of languages including C++, python, perl, ruby, shell scripting and other.

Currently it supports:

· C++
· java
· D
· CSharp
· perl
· python
· ruby
· VHDL
