fruitXterm is a little shell script that gives the X windows Xterm color.
Thanks to X's color names list "/usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt", and xterm's font coloring capability.
Installation:
Pick up the shell script required for the shell you are using. Look the script file extension. Copy it to an executables directory. For example:
/usr/local/bin/ or /usr/X11/bin/
If you are using ksh or zsh, then you may use "fruitXterm.bash" as it is more compatible.
Useage:
This is a demo version with a randomized foreground color. The real version randomizes the background and cursor colors. And offers 5 color modes: fruit, monochrome, light, randomized and rainbow.
