Gnome Debian Package Finder is a GUI (Graphical User Interface) wrapper for apt-cache, apt-file and dpkg commands. It allows quick search through Debian packages database for package names, descriptions or file names inside the package.

It shows common info about the package, its dependencies or list of files the package would install.

This utility is for Debian-based systems (Ubuntu) and its binary is compiled for GTK2.
