The operating system is distributed as a dual-arch Live DVD ISO image that has been designed from the ground up to include software packages optimized for both 32-bit and 64-bit instruction set architectures.
Comprehensive Live CD boot menu
When booting the operating system from the BIOS of a computer, you will be prompted by a comprehensive boot menu that includes the ability to start the live system with default drivers or in safe graphics mode, directly start the installer, as well as to boot in text-only or debug modes.
In addition, you will be able to perform a system memory diagnostic test, as well as to boot an existing operating system that is installed on the first disk drive and it’s no longer bootable.
Includes state-of-the-art open source applications
Among the pre-installed software, we can mention Nagios Core for network monitoring, Splunk data indexer, Ocs Inventory-ng data inventory, NDOUtils Nagios data import utility, Centreon IT infrastructure and application monitoring.
Additionally, the Glpi data inventory, Nagvis a visualization addon for Nagios, phpMyAdmin MySQL database administration interface, Webmin system administration interface, as well as Icinga monitoring software are also included.
Default usernames and passwords
While all the passwords uses in this operating system has been set to “password” (without quotes), the following username are available: system user: ch, nagios user: nagiosadmin, Centreon user: admin, Nagvis user: nagiosadmin, Glpi user: glpi, PhpMyAdmin user: root, Webmin user: ch, Ocs user: admin, and Icinga user: icingaadmin.
